Back in the day there was only a single guy, Wickie, who did what no other webmasters were willing to do— give a then, three-week old blog (you’r reading it) a charity link on his own site. Can you believe it? No other bastards in the scene would help us out! I guess it’s not surprising, seeing how so many new blogs are abandoned by their owners soon after coming online. But c’mon, we’re talking about Rapid Teens here (the site that continually redefines sex blogging through provocative content and award winning commentary)!

Well this link exchange with Wickie turned out more like a one-way traffic pump, benefiting Rapid Teens exclusively. I’ve pretty much been gleefully ripping him off (traffic wise) ever since. And yes, it’s a good thing he’s Scandinavian and doesn’t read any English!

Having said all that, aside from the major perks of having his support, I’d never paid much attention to his "blog,"
mainly because his site features almost no text—a characteristic common to most low quality “porn blogs.”

But Wickie’s site is different. Quite different.

Wickie is a cropmaster. His specialty lies in creating large-sized thumbnails from cropped full-sized images. At first this sounds like a trivial task, but the eye to make the proper cuts is a gift that cannot be easily learned. Indeed, his mastery of cropping is one of the best I’ve seen outside the world of professional print.

Wickie creates thumbs that seemingly coerce you into clicking on them. A case of Pavlov’s monkeys or whatever. I don’t really know how to explain it. It’s like you’re always trying to see beyond what he’s cropped to show you. Often the thumbs turn out more erotic than the actually pictures that they were taken from. Truly, this is a testament to his skill and experience as a crop artist.

So I was thinking, a journeyman cropper can go quite far in this industry. Sure, his blog is popular, but why not chase something bigger? Like a cropping contract with some major slut-house publisher. Or perhaps he’s already been doing professional work all along? Either way, with the language and cultural barriers that separate us it is unlikely that I will uncover too much information about him anytime soon. Also, he seems to keep his private life quite out of the way of his blogging.

As part of my research for this post, I did try a Google search for his photo, which did produce a “Wickie” that’s European and an appearance that, shall we say, convincingly indicates an occupation as a webmaster.

Anyway, if you’re looking for pussy in this post then I’m sorry. You’re shit out of luck, at least for today. But why not head over to his site for once and see what wicked cropmastering is all about.
